Come be a part of our lively conversation on empowering Nigerian women in the digital economy.
March is the month dedicated to honoring women around the world, and International Women’s Day(IWD), celebrated annually on March 8, serves as a powerful reminder of the progress women have made over the years. It’s also an opportunity for us to reflect on the work that still needs to be done and to collaborate for a better future for all of us.
This year’s IWD theme, "Accelerate Action - For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment," is a call to action for us to intensify efforts in advocating for the rights, equality, and empowerment of women everywhere. It’s a theme that resonates deeply with us at Project ASHA.
Taking the Celebration a Step Further
At Project ASHA, we’re creating safe spaces, connecting highly inspiring women, and focusing the spotlight on empowering women in the digital economy, a rapidly growing sector that holds immense potential for women to lead, innovate, and succeed.
Meet our Special Guest of the Day
We are honored to host Her Excellency, Hajia Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, the Minister for Women Affairs, as our distinguished guest speaker. Her leadership and dedication to advancing women’s rights in Nigeria make her a beacon of change and inspiration for this important conversation on accelerating women’s opportunities in the digital economy.
